Stable Developments

Due to the nature of the stables being located in open land, the structure of the property is prone to the elements which has previously caused great damage to the homes of the horses.

The stables that the horses are homed in are checked frequently to ensure that they are of a high enough quality for the horses to be homed in but unfortunately some of the older stables are more prone to damage. In 2006 some of the older stables developed issues concerning damp, this is an issue concerning the structure of the property and the health of the horses.

When going through the process of damp proofing the stables, it was an expensive process meaning that a high proportion of donations were dedicated to this. Without the donations we would struggle to home our horses in a safe environment.
